SFS & Smalls

Month: October
Spent: $10.77
Carryover: 70.41

Yet another DMC run. It would be easier to stitch to my budget if I didn't keep running out of thread. I have enough patterns and fabric to last for several years and not much desire to buy any new charts, but floss. I just keep running out.

This month's finish for the Smalls SAL is Heart of British Columbia, which I just squeaked in.

That was my problem this month too.

Well done on your healthy SFS budget. Are you going to treat yourself to something at the end or just consider it a "virtual" win?
Your small looks lovely too. I can't believe you stitched that in just 5.5 hours! :)

Seems to me that running out of a floss is a lovely thing, as it means you are actively stitching and not just acquiring patterns for the theoretical "someday". Consuming floss means you are actively working towards finishes which is the goal of SFS!

Love your heart series. You're convincing me I should make a few as souvenirs of our trips to Canada!
