Ohm
25 ct Black lugana
I took at all the smalls I need to finish today. There are so many of them and it was very disheartening. I have no clue how you frequent finishers do this! There's measuring, cutting, lacing, assembling and adding all kinds of ribbons/ricrac/buttons/pompoms. I get so overwhelmed just thinking about it and go back to stitching on my WIPs because it's so much less thinking and decision-making involved. What are your secrets? Tell me and save me from this growing pile of smalls-that-need-to-be-finish-finished.

Wow your ohm is gorgeous! All those beautiful colours just pop on that fabric.
As for finishing take a look at The Twisted Stitcher's finishing tutorials. They are great to follow. Just take your time.
I agree with you regarding all the little designs, I hate finishing them all, so I normally only sew large designs, I now find them far rewarding, I am naughty and more often give away what I have stitched and allow the person receiving it to finish it in any style they want. For me it's all about the stitching.
Wow...love this project and the colors....well, they are gorgeous.
Ohm is a really pretty piece! I'm mostly a one at a time finisher, so it's not as overwhelming.
Those colors really DO pop. Great project.
Your progress on Ohm looks great!
Looking great! You have a point about finishing, I've actually only finished one project. At the time, while I was doing it I kept thinking I'd rather be stitching lol

Lovely progress on this design. It is so colourful.
I agree with other comments - Ohm look FAB on that fabric. As for finishing off smalls, I can't help you there as I've yet to stitch anything that hasn't been framed!! But I'll be interested to see what you decide to do. :)
Looks like a fun piece. Love the colors.
great stitching :D
When I have to deal with a pile of finishes I bulk sew them. I decide on a whole pile that needs to be made into pillows then the pile that needs to be made into flat ornaments.
I then match the fabric for it and cut it out. I don't cut it perfectly because I always sew it together cross stitch side up and use the aida/linen to match where I'm sewing. This means I don't have to be perfect when I cut.
I then sew a whole pile in a batch and then will turn them all ready to stuff. I will stuff in a batch another day if I need to and slowly sew them up as I can. Some Christmases I end up with a LOT of ornaments on the go.
