How Things Change

First off let me just say that I am shocked, shocked that it's already the third weekend of the fourth month of the year! Seems like it was Christmas just yesterday.

I initially pulled out Butterfly Bellpull since I was planning on finishing it this month, but two hours of struggling with the too-stiff fabric and the realization that I can live without this design later, I frogged the whole thing. This is a momentous occasion since this is the first piece that I've started and then unstarted. Previously I just hoarded everything by saying "The right time will come". Perhaps there is hope for me yet!

I decided to put a few stitches into Spring Queen...which turned into several hours with her. For some unknown reason I really feel like working on her so the plan is to keep on going.

Spring Queen

In what can only be the universe's absurd sense of humour, we has snowfall yesterday.

I totally agree with you. I'm so surprised that we are more than halfway through April. How did that happen?!

And we had a mix of rain, snow and sun today. The weather was so weird.

Count me in the group "The right time will come", LOL!

Spring Queen is beautiful, no wonder you feel like working on her, and for me, she's the one I like best in the Queen Series.

Isn't it insane how time is flying by? It seems that it's been doing that for the last couple of years and I wish it'd slow down!!! :)

I love the yellows in Spring Queen... they're so cheery.

Spring Queen is a beautiful chart! I have her stitching and hanging in my hallway. I see her every morning when I come down the stairs.

Mother Nature's sense of humor is whacked right now. I'm thinking something has really torked her taters!

Commenting on your recent posts:

Wow! You did so much on Apache Wedding Blessing! :o

I can see what you mean by the border being soothing. :)

Cool Christmas is definitely frightening if one "overthinks"! Wow!

Wonderful that you learned your needs on the L&L angels BEFORE starting one of your own. :D

How gorgeous are the colors on spring queen! And, "Go you" on frogging the whole thing. Sometimes you've just gotta do such a thing. :D

Lovely colours for the time of the year. Ignore the snow, its clock is evidently wrong!!

Stitch what makes you feel good, that's what I do.

It is quite scary how fast the weeks are going by. It'll soon be May. What on earth happened???

Love your progress on Spring Queen.

Yes you're right. Time flies. There must be some time thieves running around.
