Secretive Progress

It's been six months since I posted a picture of The Runekeeper Saga, and according to that post, I had a few stitches done.

Today I present everything but the backstitch:

The Rune Keeper Saga
28 ct Antique White Lugana
I will confess that I took photos after every colour (except when I had to go back because I missed a couple of stitches) but never posted them. And I really have no explanation. I ... just didn't.

Since I've been on a roll, I'm going to stick with this, so hang around for 12 (hopefully) days showing the awesome power of backstitch!

Oh... the jealously! I started this as a RR years ago. I so want it done right this very minute now that I see yours.

Congratulations on the wonderful progress!

Backstitch power activate!! Back-stitching is like binding a quilt. You love finishing your project, but hate the suspense of something so simple that is in the way.

Wow! Never seen this before and love it. Of course, I spent yesterday not feeling well and sewing on the couch while watching Cadfael so this fits...lol.

That's a great piece! I'd have done the backstitch square by square myself. Looking forward to seeing the finished article and hoping my son doesn't cos he'd want it for his room (where my TW dragons have ended up!)

The power of backstitch is awesome indeed ;) I love the Dragon Dreams designs! I remember when these were freebies years ago; I stitched the dragon and the unicorn, although I changed up the colourways and added borders. I was going to make a triptych, but never got it done! Seeing this has inspired me to dig them out again, so thanks :)
