Giveaway

And this one is actually mine~

So to celebrate 100 posts (this) and 50 followers (sometime last month!) I'm holding a small giveaway:

If your reaction is "What on earth is that?" Fear not. It will be a needlebook. Currently it's a WIP. (How shocking!)The picture will change as it is completed. The fabric is actually a muddy mottled green. (Ignore the hair. I'm shedding.)

Rules:
Comment on this post only and state that you'd like to win.
That's it.
Edit: I will announce the winner here and send an email (if possible). You have 5 days to respond after which I'll pick someone else.

Bonus:
Let me know how close you've been to Winnipeg and I'll send something.
Eg. You've never been to Canada: a moose
You've never been to the prairies: a sheaf of wheat
You live in Winnipeg: I have nothing for you
(Note: the above are examples. You will not receive a live moose! I'm pretty sure shipping one is illegal.)

Deadline:
February 24th 10:00 PM Winnipeg Time

Good luck!

I would love to participate in your give-away!! The closest I have been to Winnipeg is when I was 10 yrs old or so and while visiting my grandmother in Chicago, Illinois, she took me to see the Wisconsin Dells!

I would like to be entered to your giveaway. I really like this design, and it will be a needlebook, which is always great :)

I have never been to Winnipeg, not even in Canada, not even out of Europe.

Have a great weekend.

Ooh, love that design! Please enter me in the giveaway to win the needlebook! I have never been to Winnipeg, nor Canada at all.

Please enter me, Blu.

Let's see: the closest I've been to Winnipeg is Vancouver (which meant I flew right past Winnipeg), and from the other way the closest in a little town in northern Ontario called Chapleau. Neither are very close, but they are both closer than Toronto. :)

I've always admired that pattern, Blu and would love to be entered to win your needlebook! Closest to Winnipeg...well, my family used to vacation in a tiny town called Haliburton, ON every summer on a lovely lake called Lake Kashagawigamog. Great memories! Probably vacationed there for 10 summers straight...

Congratulations on 100 posts--you are WAY ahead of me :)

I'd love to be entered in your contest. I believe the closest I've ever been to Winnipeg would be when we would go camping up by Sault Ste. Marie in Michigan (where i'm from). But when I was really little I remember watching a pbs station I believe was out of Winnipeg :D I remember sesame street being half in French instead of the Spanish it is here in the states.

Sweet! Please include me Blu :o)

Last March I flew to Regina to pick up DH and I 'believe' I must have flown over or by Winnipeg. LOL! That would be the closest I've ever been.

The closest I've ever been to Winnipeg is probably Hamilton (on my way to Niagara) although I do know to call it "Winterpig" because OH comes from Canada ;o)

I'd love a chance to win it.

I've only ever left UK shores once and that was when I was 11 and went on a school trip to Holland but I would love to visit Canada

Hi Blu, thanks for the nice comment on my blog! I really appreciate it!

I would love to win your needlebook. Although we live in the same country and I have been as far east as Ontario I somehow managed to skip over Manitoba. If it counts my hubby's been to Winnipeg lots!

LOL about the moose comment. I'd love to be entered in your giveaway!

The closest I have been to Manitoba is when I crossed into Ontario via Niagara Falls. I've also been to Quebec. I would LOVE to see the rest of Canada, though, in particular the prairie provinces, BC, and Nova Scotia.

Very pretty! As far as Canada goes, I have been to Toronto. I once traveled quite a bit for work so stateside have been to Los Angeles, Chicago, and St. Louis.

How sweet! Please include me also. I guess the closest I've ever been to the Canadian border is Chicago. I live in Alabama so not much chance to get out of the south for me!
thanks,
robin

Oh pick me please! Not only have I been to Winnipeg but I broke my foot when I slipped and fell down the marble stairs at the Legislature building. Surely that deserves something special!!!!

Sheila said...

I'd love to be included in your draw - I don't own a needlebook and this one looks great:)

I love the green fabric you used & would be honored to win your needle book Blu. I have been to Canada a bunch of times but never to Winnipeg. I have been to Prince Edwards Island, Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Ontario, and Niagara Falls. I have no idea which is closest but I loved visiting Canada. If I ever do make it there, I'll let you know so we can have a nice visit.

Opps I forgot to say pick me because your giveaway is on my birthday! It would make an awfully nice birthday gift.
