It's the new moon! It's the |
February's TUSAL is presented by the 2009 Christmas Tree by Nora Corbett. Said tree is sitting with a black frame that I plan to turn red (haven't actually read up on how yet).
There's a lot more colour this month courtesy of Namaste.
Edited to add: I'm joining the chorus of people declaring the comment verification too hard (I mean I had Cyrillic letters show up once! How the **** do you type those?). As such I have removed it from my blog and will probably try once to comment if you've got it. For the love of all things stitchery, PLEASE remove the blasted thing.

pretty ORTS and I love the Christmas tree.
What a gorgeous, sparkly tree! And THANK YOU for removing the word verification :-)
Beautiful tree. I like your orts :)
OMIGOSH!! I have never seen more than the chart photo of that design and was never much of a fan...but seeing how the monochromatic beads work together with the reds...it is STUNNING!! I can't wait to see the whole thing framed. And let me know if you'd be interested in parting with the chart once you're done... =)
Great TUSAL report and I'm about crazy with this new word verification too!
Lovely stitching Blu, looks like a gorgeous pattern. Yay for doing away with word verification, it is such a pain!!
First off, I love that piece and it is so cool to see how much thread you already have.
Also not sure if I have comment verification I hope not... but I agree it can be a pita.
Lol, as Cyrillic is our alphabet, at first I was Yay! But I can totally understand you, I wouldn't be amused if I had to figure out how to write a Chines symbol for example; and I agree that the verification thing is getting wild. I think mine is not active but I'll check again.
And for the stitchingm it's gorgeous!
Your red Christmas Tree is gorgeous. Love how you presented it together with your orts.
Oh yes, I completely agree with the word verification thing. Annoying! Like you, I've removed it from my blog too.
Hugs,
Veronica.
I deleted the word verification thing too... what a nightmare!
Lovely stitching - I've not seen that design before
Your tree looks really pretty.
I use furniture refinisher to remove old finishes on frames. Then I primer the frame. Then paint with the color I want it.
I shut off the word verification on my blog. What a pain!
Traveling pattern went out to you in today's mail! Please let me know when it arrives.
that tree is gorgeous :D
How fun to put your orts in the Christmas ball. Will you do more balls as you stitch this year? I too was a hermit this month and had fun. You must have had a really good lunch to disappear for the rest of the weekend though...lol.
Hugs from Holland ~
