Bring On The Beads

Thanks everyone for all the framing advice! Hopefully now I can get some things onto walls.

I've started adding the beads to Cinderella! Here she is with her top half done. I have the entirety of her skirt left.

It actually took me longer than anticipated to get the beading, because when I started backstitching I realized that I'd missed an entire part of her sleeve and dress. So I had to stitch that. Then when I was backstitching I realized her hand was posed awkwardly:

While it is possible to hold your hand like that (I tried it), it would not be how my hand would look when running away while wearing a giant poofy gown and holding my heaving bosom. So to speak. So I had to remodel it. My version is a bit crude and I feel like the hand is a bit too big, but I prefer it to how it's charted.

That is just gorgeous!!! The fabric you chose really shows off the design colors. And I love her red hair. Beautiful!

Lol the hand does look awkward. But I think it would have been ok for the time when Cinderella was written. The delicately place hand to show she is feeling faint and harried.

By the way, I love the smattering of beads behind her.

It's a beautiful project, and so close to the finish line.

Hands down your re-modelling is much better (see what I did there with the pun LOL)
The fabric is perfect for your colours, absolutely stunning job. And I agree that hand is very weird.

I love your conversion! The hair looks awesome and the fabric is wonderful.
The hand is rather awkward and you've done a good job of remodelling it. It's a little high for holding onto to her bosoms, maybe she's clutching a diamond necklace under there?

The hand is definitely an improvement and your beading looks fabulous so far. Good luck the remaining beading - genuinely getting excited about seeing more! :)
