More DMC. I'm always surprised at how fast some of the colours get used and how others linger on forever. I think I've replaced maybe two out of all the 36xx, 37xx and 38xx series, whereas I go through multiple skeins of 898 and 3371 a month!
I finally reached Venetian Opulence's frame. I just realized that while there won't be any problems finishing off the bottom part, counting up to the top is going to be tricky. I just know I'm going to miscount the sides :(

I'm the same some colours I fly through, it only takes one stitch out so take care when counting.
Good luck with the sides it's looking great! I'm the same with threads kind of but I've never gone through several in a month. I don't stitch that much lol

Maybe baste in some lines to help you? I always put in at least one in each direction to mark of the center. It's always helped me keep track :)
I am very parsimonious with my thread! There is hardly any wastage in my ORTS. But I did buy an entire cone of 310 earlier this year because I do use a lot of black.
Venetian Opulence looks gorgeous, I love those colours.
