Too Exhausted To Be Frustrated

I started this angel as part of a HAL and it's just been so frustrating. The instructions say to stitch the outline first. I started too close to the edge so I had to rip out an hour of work.

The second time I managed to squeeze in one side with a margin of ~6 threads. See bottom left.

I finally finished the outline and started the inner part only to realize that it didn't line up with the outline. See the upper right.

Sniping the outline is not an option because I'm running low on the floss, so I have to figure out where the error is and then unstitch. And I can't find the error.

The current plan is to stitch the inside and thereby find the error.

I knew there was a reason to start things in the middle.

This angel looks like a very frustrating project! I think your error is in the bottom line. On the left side there is a long row of stitches and two around the corner right side. The shorter row then is longer compared with the same row on the right side. I hope this still makes any sense.

Wow, she looks to be a challenging little angel. I am not sure if I would have the will power you have to keep chugging along. I would have to step away and do something else.

I really hope you can find your error (sometimes I think I have an error, and look for it forever, to realize I was just looking at the chart wrong, and there was no error!!!)

Good Luck!

Blu haveing just had a squint at the photo enlarged .. you seem to have made an error with the right hand short bit under the wing if you look to the other side your kloseter stitches are before your edging and after does that make sense .. the other side they are not .... hope you can see what I mean :) love mouse xxxxx

Ugh!! I have actually had nightmares where I've stitched something (to be framed) and end up with only four threads left at an edge! I think starting in the middle is a good idea...no such thing as the Stitching Police so feel free to ignore directions that don't make sense!! ;)

Oh my goodness, I'd be frustrated too! I usually start in the middle, so doing the outline first and hoping it will line up is not something I choose to do, cos it usually doesn't line up for me!

Breathe deeply and relax!

That's why if I start on the outline then I will grid it up so I know I will fit there.
