Eye See

More of The Great Escape.

The Great Escape
28ct white Jubilee, DMC 317, 318, 413, 414

Sprat's Head stitch in between the eyes. I've done this once before and it's a pretty easy stitch. I've never done the Jessica stitch before; I just know that Chatelaine stitchers mention it all the time as being not too much fun. Personally I loved it! I think it was the circular symmetry. And the Diamond Eyelet in the middle was old hat. Yawn.

He's cute! Love the grays you're using.
I also enjoy doing Jessicas, but my problem with Martina's occur when they're really tiny (like on 6x6 threads): they get really crowded towards the end, and it's a little hard to find the right place in which to stick your needle. But they're really pretty once they're done :-)

Looks great, Blu.

I'm one of the minority that love jessicas. I could do them all day. :D

I like Jessicas too, Blu. I've got them in my Desert Mandala, and I really enjoyed them (although I had to do the closed ones all at once and the open ones all at once as they were too similar for me to keep both styles in my head at the same time, lol). I like learning new stitches.
