Grab The Confetti!

Because we're celebrating a finish this
The Great Escape by Bee's Needleworks is almost entirely composed of specialty stitches, some of which were great fun and others were mind-numbingly boring.
The next project is a Hardanger-A-Long. I'm still debating whether to sign up or not. I've had zero luck finishing any of the HALs I join.

Hello

Congratulations on your finish, it's lovely!

Thank you for the link, I was wondering where the owl design came from!

This is such a lovely finish - I must admit I am not a big one for speciality stitches, I prefer good old cross stitch. So, I admire you all the more for tackling them.

It's beautiful. I still haven't finished mine. It's always the same with specialty stitches for me: need a quiet home to do them and it's not something to be found here, these days:-)

Your owl looks great! Maybe I should take mine out of the closet and work on him seeing that inspiring piece. I feel like a made such a mess of the first few installments, I just didn't want to continue. But maybe I should just think of it as a learning project and keep going.
