I'm feeling the need to rotate! I haven't decided what's going to be in said rotation, but the first one is Ohm.

Ohm
25 ct Black luganaThis is a ridiculously forgiving pattern as far as colour is concerned. There's hot pink next to dark blue and red next to neon green. It makes no difference at all if I use the wrong colour. And I think I could probably stitch the motif wrong too, but as long as I mirrored it and don't go outside the shape of the overall design it wouldn't be noticeable either. It's very freeing to stitch something so forgiving.
WOW!! Absolutely incredible. It is stunning being stitched on the black fabric. At first I thought this was a appliqued as in quilting. Then I had to click on the photo to see up closer.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOODNESS!!! IT IS CROSS STITCHING!!!
I have been cracking up laughing because now I understand your comments. LOL!!!
ooh thank you for that. I totally know how hard or just about impossible to stitch on black count linen or adia. Your stitching looks remarkable to me and the colors are outstanding.
I am looking forward to watching your progress on this wip.
love Annette
What an unusual piece. Can't wait to see how it stitches up. You're doing a great job on the black fabric.
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers and their colours. You are very brave to stitch on dark canvas.
ReplyDeleteLove Ohm--it's beautiful!
