I've been chipping away at Heart of Alberta. And I do mean "chipping". It's been going at a rate of about 10 stitches a day. The main reason being that I joined a gym. So once I'm done exercising and having a hot shower I'm ready for bed and there is almost no stitching happening. On one hand I'm (theoretically) getting more fit; on the other my stitching time has dwindled.

Gyms do tend to have that effect! I gave up going to a gym last year (budgetary reasons) and instead go walking. Having a local extinct volcano helps a lot!
ReplyDeleteGood for you with the gym! Hopefully it will give you more energy, instead of less for stitching once your in the swing of it.
ReplyDeleteGood progress! I'm hoping to join a gym soon I'm just waiting until my bills get paid down a bit and for the New Years drop outs to leave lol
ReplyDeleteSomething always has to give. Love the stitching!

It's awful when other events cut into our stitching time, but good luck with the gym! :)
ReplyDeletegetting fit is a good thing. you will get stitching in when you can
ReplyDeleteCongrats on joining a gym! Keep it up and you WILL feel great. Maybe you'll even stitch faster, who knows ......could happen. LOL
ReplyDeleteThe Alberta heart is very pretty!
beautiful heart
ReplyDeleteCongrats on joining a gym! I bet your already feeling great.
ReplyDeleteHeart of Alberta is looking so beautiful. love Annette
Good for you on joining the gym. But it so frustrating we can't do it all. When I exercise I am too tired to stitch. Good luck.....you will strike a balance. We shouldn't have to give up one for the other.
ReplyDeleteGood for you on the gym! I am trying too. More walking and some yoga at home and hiking.
ReplyDelete10 stitches are 10 stitches! They add up!
Have a great week.
