Cerchio

I had some comments about how this was a piece unforgiving of errors, and I thought "Well, it's not like I make mistakes" and "I'm a careful counter"

Do you see where this is going?

Cirque des Cercles
32 ct Lemon Whip Lugana, DMC 115

The leftmost motif in the uppermost row is in the wrong place. It's should be the next left motif. Not a problem since I'll just switch motifs.
Then I stitched the "fixed" motif one row too low. Frog and redo. One row too high.

Two hours since last week and into the pile.

  1. Actually... I had few days where I was angry at mine too. The knotty mess was noticed many stitches later! Errr... LOL

  2. Cirque is indeed a challenge. But so stunning done. Mine ended up in the garbage - because I hated the fabric. One day I will do this one again.

  4. Isn't it weird how when you start saying things like "I don't make mistakes" it then happens???

At least you caught the miscounts where they're find-able and fixable.

  5. That one looks way to complex for me to ever even think about. I get distracted and make tons of counting errors. Nice to see someone willing to fix things up and keep going. It will be beautiful when it's done.

Glad you have a solution for the frogging issue.

Praise me! Adore me! I shall bask, celebrate and not respond ;)
Ask and I shall answer (provided you aren't a no-reply blogger. If you are I will tragically be unable to respond)
Point out errors and I shall correct them and appreciate your eagle eyes~
