I had some comments about how this was a piece unforgiving of errors, and I thought "Well, it's not like I make mistakes" and "I'm a careful counter"

The leftmost motif in the uppermost row is in the wrong place. It's should be the next left motif. Not a problem since I'll just switch motifs.
Then I stitched the "fixed" motif one row too low. Frog and redo. One row too high.

Actually... I had few days where I was angry at mine too. The knotty mess was noticed many stitches later! Errr... LOL
ReplyDeleteCirque is indeed a challenge. But so stunning done. Mine ended up in the garbage - because I hated the fabric. One day I will do this one again.

ReplyDeleteAt least you caught the miscounts where they're find-able and fixable.
That one looks way to complex for me to ever even think about. I get distracted and make tons of counting errors. Nice to see someone willing to fix things up and keep going. It will be beautiful when it's done.
